1. Delete everything on your device

Uninstalling GLongP removes the local encrypted database, your notes and vault files, cached chat media, and the keys held in the system keychain.

This is irreversible. Without your 12-word recovery phrase, the account and its data cannot be recovered by anyone. Make sure you have the phrase written down before uninstalling.

2. Delete server-side data

In the app: Profile → Delete account. This deletes your server-side data immediately and wipes the device in the same step.

Without the app: email glongptech@gmail.com from any address with the subject Delete my data and include your account address (the glp1… string shown in Profile). We remove:

your display name and public key
your push notification tokens
any queued undelivered messages, to or from you
photos and files you uploaded
your membership in groups

Email requests are completed within 30 days. We may ask you to prove control of the address by sending a message from the app.

3. What cannot be deleted

Messages already delivered to another person's device — that copy belongs to their device.
